Adopt a Legislator

Every legislative session has different challenges.  In an effort to reach out to more legislators during the 82nd Legislature, we need your help.  If you know a state representative and/or a state senator in your area and we can call upon you to make contact regarding legislation that affects justices of the peace and constables, please complete the Adopt a Legislator form and mail it to Constable Bruce Elfant.

Scholarship Information

Each year the Justices of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas selects from applications for children and grandchildren of the membership the recipients of the Constable Darrell Lunsford, Judge Fulton Lee, Constable James Paschall, & Deputy Micheal Eakin Memorial Scholarship. This memorial scholarship recognizes the highest ideals of service in our public offices as well as commitment and dedication that sometimes comes in sacrifice. Some of our greatest good and highest ideals are achieved in providing assistance for educational opportunities for the children of our members. We have seen the results of our investment grow in watching these students graduate and go on to lead productive lives. The recipient must be related to and nominated by a voting member of the Association.

To apply, download the COLLAGE application form or the HIGH SCHOOL application.
